Our History

A 40 Year Tradition of Motorsports Excellence

Founded by Al Bacon in 1979, Bacon Performance got its start racing Porsche 911's in SCCA. With Al at the helm, team grew quickly entering as a full-time IMSA competitor in 1981. Over the next several decades, Bacon Motorsports would go on to rack up a string of wins in IMSA, including 4 Daytona Rolex 24 Hour wins, and a win at the 12 hours of Sebring.

Now in multiple racing series running as CB Motorsports,  we have added wins in Fanatec GT World Challenge, Lamborghini Super Trofeo, SRO TCA, and SCCA GT3 to our achievement list.
